Alexander all the time

Now that we are preggers again, we really have to change the title of this little blog. I contemplated starting a new one altogether, but really don't want to loose any of the great pictures and posts that have stored such a huge part of Tay's accomplishments and funny memories. Thus, the title "Alexander all the time". Soon, we will be a foursome and will have double the fun to document! The blogger url will remain the same so we don't loose our precious entries.

Baby Alexander

Hello world! There is a little hand waving to us. This one is as active as Tay was. Bouncing and hopping all around like a little frog in my tummy! This ultrasound was on 8-8-07 at 12 weeks.

Tay's going to be a big sister!

And she is so proud! Mommy is about 12 weeks here.

Tay's first time with Playdo

We introduced Tay to Playdo, Saturday. Clearly she had a ball with the stuff!

July 4th 2007

We spent the 4th at the folks' house. I taught Tay to say " rockets" instead of fireworks. I thought it would be easier to say. So when the show went off behind the house, her tiny little voice said "Wow! Rockets! Pretty!"

My favorite Taylorisms

Tay has a huge volcabulary at this point; well over 100 words. She has been putting words together to make phrases for a couple of months now. Here are some of my favorite things she says:
"Want it" - something she desires; usually something naughty or a no no
"Like it" - usually referring to eating
"Help" - the way she says this is so cute! it can be she needs help with a toy or help getting her hands on something naughty or a no no
"Love you" - i literally melt
"Hold on" - this one cracks us up because she says it with such urgency.
"Hold this" - usually referring to something she doesn't want to part with; example her toothbrush. she never wants to stop brushing her teeth.
"Ok" - again, cracks us up!
"Hi, Mommy" or " Hi, Daddy" or "Hi Chopper" or "Hi Harley" - the list goes on. she says it so sweetly!
"Night Night, Harley" - same as above. Same cute sweet little voice and she goes through her list.

Unsolicited love

Three nights ago Tay was laying in bed with us, rolled over and said, " Love you, Daddy"! It is unbelievable at 18 months a little person can burst with so much affection and express it!
