Alexander all the time

Now that we are preggers again, we really have to change the title of this little blog. I contemplated starting a new one altogether, but really don't want to loose any of the great pictures and posts that have stored such a huge part of Tay's accomplishments and funny memories. Thus, the title "Alexander all the time". Soon, we will be a foursome and will have double the fun to document! The blogger url will remain the same so we don't loose our precious entries.

Favorite sayings - by Dad

Things that I like hearing from Taylor

"I love you" - I especially love hearing "I love you Daddy/Mommy" but I like when she uses the name of however she is talking to Michi, Pop Pop, Beebsss, Sammi, or one of the animals. In all cases she means it.

"Hold the _____" in lieu of "Hold it!" We have been working with her to start naming her pronouns. Too many times we were guessing what the "it" was, but she is starting to realize that she has to name the pronoun before using it.

"Puzjle"(that's not a typo but close to how she says it the z sound is hard!" - in reference to her new puzzle. It amazes me how quickly she will put each piece where it belongs; but even more how much she seems to enjoy putting it together. She rips through it in less than 3 minutes and then starts asking for more.

"Stinkee face" - in reference to her book Stinky Face. ... this book is also known as "Gator" It features a skunk named "Stinky Face" and an alligator. Reading books to her is a lot of fun. When I come home, she takes me to her books "Come ere daddy!.... READ it..... pl-ease" ...

"Harley Aaaann" in reference to the dog whose middle name is Ann

"Okay" - this is used in lieu of yes and delivered with wide eyes and a definite nod. Taylor has become a little decision maker and when presented with a choice that she is agreeable to, she will reply with a quick "~okay" (its hard to make that word convey exactly how she says it, the tilde and italics are meant to indicate the speed in which she says it)

"Squeeeeeze it/ Squeeeze you" - This is during a hug, she will wrap her little arms around you and squeeze. Sweet and funny at the same time

"Get choo" - we tend to play chase quite a bit at home and she will run after us saying this repeatedly.

"Gum" - I tend to come home with gum in my mouth and she always looks directly into my mouth while saying it.

"Hold the baby Thomas" - so we were watching a movie and an ultrasound picture popped on the screen and Taylor frantically exclaimed this. She seems to be in a phase that she wants to old anything that may appeal to her on TV.
